a rage in harlem (1991)

harlem, new york, 1956: the shy and clumsy jackson works as an accountant in a funeral home. her monotonous life, all work, home and church, is literally upset by the encounter with the beautiful imabelle, a beautiful and seducing seductress. imabelle, in fact, is in possession of a chest full of gold that her lover, the dangerous slim, was trying to place with a researcher. slim, believed dead by imabelle, appears in the city, determined to get back in possession of the trunk and the girl. jackson, hopelessly in love with her, asks for help from his half-brother goldy, a notorious neighborhood villain.
