the darkest minds (2018)

after an unknown disease has killed 98 percent of children, those survivors mysteriously develop superpowers. because of these new extraordinary abilities the boys are considered a threat by the government and locked up in internment camps. ruby chooses to gather his companions and run away from the camp, but the time comes when fleeing is no longer enough: the boys will have to resist and fight against the adults who have betrayed them.
