enough (2002)

a waitress at a coffee shop is taken away from the routine of daily life by a rich builder who initially seems to be the perfect reincarnation of the prince charming's stereotype, until it turns out to be unfaithful, violent and possessive instead. when the girl decides to abandon him, he promises to kill her and it is only by a miracle that she manages to escape with her daughter and hide under a false identity in michigan. but the man does not give up, and since the police do not help her, she decides to go alone to the strong ways.
