The Overcoat (1952)

a modest employer, carmine decarmine, works and lives pursuing his big destination, a dream to be realized at all costs: buying a coat. when the dream finally becomes reality and the wretch can wear the sweaty garment, if he sees it steal while he's out and about at night. he wanders until dawn, gets cold and dies.
