a prosecutor dies in a bar in sassari after taking a pill that turns out to be cyanide. to investigate the murder will be a magistrate called by another attorney, who will have to move in a hostile environment, where several small altars come to light between respectable and unsuspected people who invoke hiding unspeakable vices.
