a simple plan (1998)

in the outskirts of ashenville, minnesota, on the eve of the new year, hank mitchell, his brother jacob and his friend lou discover in the snow the carcass of a small aircraft in which they find a bag with four million dollars. hank proposes a plan to avoid arousing suspicion: he will keep the money until the moment of partition, the following spring; if something goes wrong, it will burn them. naturally the case and the stupidity of the protagonists will take charge of making everything go wrong.
