the daughter of a boxing trainer, jackie kallen grew up jumping rope in a downtown detroit gym, alongside her uncle, a boxer. at 36, the woman is ready to continue the family tradition. when the boxing king of the western states, sam larocca accidentally stumbles into the henchman of the athlete's drug dealer and realizes, while he sees him hit the boxer, that he is the one who has the stuff of the champion. he convinces him to dedicate himself to sport and to hire her as his agent. jackie will turn a criminal in debt to the law into a dynamic professional boxer and become one of the most successful female managers in boxing history.
