amarti è il mio peccato (1954)

the daughter of a man who killed himself for having stolen, joins the son of the robbed. the young man is called to arms and she, who is expecting a child, lives in despair knowing nothing of her man. the son is born and his mother-in-law takes it. the woman then attempts suicide, does not die, but decides to go to the convent. the betrothed again, the two young men meet again and can finally live happily.
