americàs sweethearts (2001)

lee philips is a hollywood advertising promoter grappling with a director holding his film hostage, and a couple of lead actors who have made a career as 'america's sweethearts' but whose marriage is now broken. she, gwen, has a crush on a stallion that is all muscle and has little brain; he, eddie, is in full nervous breakdown. having to present at a press conference the release of a movie that is not there, philips brings together stars and journalists in a remote hotel in nevada, trying to distract the press with the vicissitudes of the two sweethearts and getting help from kiki, gwen's sister with problems of obesity behind.
