anime in tumulto (1942)

a distinguished surgeon works urgently on a young woman injured in a car accident. the operation is successful, but the woman becomes sterile. however the doctor, in love, marries her equally, without revealing the truth. the woman pines to have a child, while the doctor's secretary gives birth to a son of him who, as soon as he is born, is kidnapped by the sterile woman in the throes of depression. but the happiness of having a child, even if not his, will not last long because the woman loses her life.
