assenza ingiustificata (1939)

an eighteen-year-old student is expelled from her school for disciplinary reasons and pretends with her parents to be sick for the whole suspension period. his accomplice is a doctor who ends up falling in love with the girl, ending up marrying her. but married life does not turn out as well as it should: the doctor is too busy with his job and the little wife, getting bored, finds the remedy to resume her studies. the husband becomes suspicious and believes he is betrayed, but then he learns the truth by going to take his wife to school.
