ho-jung is a married woman with a very dedicated lawyer named young-jak. a former dancer, ho-jung still practices attending the local dance school and goes shopping for bicycles. however, ho-jung has almost completely stopped dancing to devote himself to the seven-year-old adopted son soo-in, his eccentric father-in-law, an alcoholic, and his reserved spouse. young-jak is often away from home, too busy managing his law firm, taking on new cases, drinking and meeting his young lover, yeon, a former model. while ho-jung accepts her husband's infidelity, on the other she is becoming more and more frustrated from a sexual point of view, so much so that she is intrigued and fascinated by ji-woon, the seventeen-year-old neighbor. young-jak is not in love with his young and sensual lover yeon but when she gets pregnant, his guilt causes him to spend even more time in her company. young-jak goes out of town with yeon and they have an accident on the way back. young-jak's father becomes seriously ill with liver and is hospitalized, dying. ho-jung's relationship with the teenager is discovered by the boy's father and another tragedy takes place.
