the intervention of american troops in somalia in 1993 was intended for humanitarian purposes and involved relieving the population from the control of barbaric warlords like muhammad farrah aidid. a mission involves surgery to be consumed in 45 minutes in the heart of mogadishu. but when one of the american helicopters is landed by a rocket, surgical precision explodes in splatter, in a confusion of errors, failed retreats, and an all-night siege. lost in a labyrinth of rubble where, around every corner, the enemy armed with a machine gun or a bloodthirsty crowd can hide, us soldiers find themselves victims of a dramatic situation.
