carica eroica (1952)

re-enactment of a war chronicle: a cavalry regiment, the savoy cavalry, during the russian campaign must coexist peacefully with the local population. but at the start the regiment finds itself having to go to the front and face the enemy by succeeding in a memorable charge to overwhelm the enemy forces, but unfortunately with great losses.
