cavalleria (1936)

following a profound amorous disappointment (his girlfriend married a wealthy austrian baron for family reasons), a cavalry officer dedicated himself to riding and became a well-known instructor. but when his horse dies during a race, he leaves the horse race for aeronautics. at the outbreak of the first world war the officer becomes an ace but, during a dangerous mission, he is shot down and his body, collected, will be escorted by a troop department.
