when he realizes he has extorted a thousand dollars from the wrong person, or winston king, the eccentric criminal boss called 'the king', jake vig decides to compensate him by completing one of the most sensational scams of his career with his band. the victim is morgan gillette, a banker with close ties to organized crime. jake's group is also joined by a pickpocket named lily who becomes part of a complex project that includes corporate loans, personalized accounting and money transfers abroad. however, vig and members will have to deal with an agent of the fbi, a double-brooke henchman.
