magali, a forty-five-year-old widow winemaker, suffers from loneliness after her two grown-up sons left home. that's why everyone is working to get magali married: from her friend isabelle, who is looking for a mate through newspaper announcements, keeping her in the dark about everything, rosine, her son's girlfriend, who organizes a meeting with etienne, his philosophy professor and former lover.
