Comedy, Equivocations
in the prison of an american provincial town, three people are locked up: a distinguished young man and two very elegant women. according to the governor it is a fearsome gangster with his pupae. the director of the prison must be absent for a while but on his return he finds the empty cells: his daughter had allowed the three to leave for a few hours. when, the next day, a captain of the state police arrives to pick up the three, the director, to save himself, puts his wife, daughter and another prisoner in jail, passing him through the dreaded gangster. things would get really bad if suddenly the three fugitives didn't return: everything is clarified in the best way because the three are nothing but a superior inspector, accompanied by his wife and sister-in-law, around for an inspection.
