crazy/beautiful (2001)

nicole is from a rich family, the daughter of a deputy, but she has a somewhat unstable psychology; carlos is a chicano proletarian instead. the two boys attend the same school and fall in love, but their relationship, also due to racial differences, is a sensation and finds the opposition of the upper middle class family. to complicate the situation are the destructive tendencies that nicole often manifests.
