Family Portrait (1962)

enrico, having received news of the death of his younger brother dino, recalls his past life. orphan children, they remain entrusted to the poor old grandmother. dino finds protection in the person of a butler who even changes his name to lorenzo. when they meet again, dino is now 18 and no longer remembers anything about his origins, they discover that their emotional bond is more than ever alive and strong and becomes even stronger during visits to the grandmother in the hospice. enrico finds a job in rome as a journalist and separates again from dino, who in the meantime marries and has a daughter but, unfortunately, is threatened by an incurable disease.
