d-tox (2002)

jake malloy is a guilty fbi agent for not being able to save his girlfriend from a serial killer he was investigating. precipitated in the bottomless pit of alcoholism, now in pieces and with a compromised career, he agrees to be admitted to a detoxification center run by former colleague doc and assistants hank and jenny. while trying to fight his own demons, jake, left alone and unarmed along with nine other hospitalized colleagues, is forced to return to reality suddenly: an ice storm isolates them from the world and someone begins to kill, one by one, the occupants of the center.
