disperato addio (1955)

marital crisis between a doctor and his wife. she leaves home and joins a friend with whom she has no relationship whatsoever. the husband, who instead believes in an affair between the two, abandons the woman. after dramatic ups and downs, she discovers she is struck by a serious illness. the husband will be the one to take care of it, regretfully deciding to return with her.
