djomeh is a young afghan who works on a farm in the heart of iran. unlike his friend and protector habib, he has no problem living as a foreigner in a land that is not very hospitable. but when he falls in love with setarh, dreaming of finally taking root in iran, he will face the peasant-conservative ideology of the locals.
