for the love of a girl, a sailor gives up boarding and works as a salesman in a fairground booth where she works. having come to a scuffle with the shady owner of the booth, the sailor is forced to leave the job and look for work in the port, dragging the girl with him. due to an accident, the sailor has to stay a few days in the hospital and the girl, badly enduring loneliness, returns to the booth and the impresario. just released from the hospital, the sailor meditates revenge.
