Violent Summer (1959)

in riccione, in the days preceding july 25, 1943, a young man from the fascist family falls in love with the widow of a fighter. when the events precipitate the two young people decide to escape and get on a train. the boy, who for the first time personally experiences the tragedies of the war, after being involved in a violent and dramatic bombing, abandons his uncertainties and his politics and decides to wear the uniform.
