Family Business (1989)

the mcmullan family is really very particular: the patriarch jessie, a brilliant and humorous man, is a retired thief; his son vito is, on the contrary, a petty bourgeois who has chosen the honorable street of commerce. his nephew adam wants to abandon his prestigious studies to embrace his grandfather's career, a figure he adores. so adam convinces his relatives to prepare an 'easy' robbery with him that instead turns out to be catastrophic because of the boy. in the end jessie will be persecuted by the police, while vito will be able to find a dialogue with his son.
