fari nella nebbia (1942)

a driver of road trains, rude and taciturn, because of his work and the times that do not coincide, he is forced to neglect his wife, employed in a haberdashery and greedy for fun and distractions. this causes several quarrels that slowly cause a break of their bond so that the wife takes refuge from her mother. her husband, left alone, meets a sensual and unscrupulous girl and decides to live with her. but the man fails to be happy, he lives in a constant state of anxiety, he fights with a friend and colleague, he suspects everyone. one day, desperate, he returns home to take a revolver and make a clean sweep, determined to take revenge on the cohabitant who betrays him, but finds his wife who, regretting the fatuity of the known people, returned home. put the grudges aside the two are reconciled.
