dead by midnight (1995)

john is kidnapped and segregated in a laboratory. he manages to escape and finds himself in a deserted place. arriving home he discovers that it is inhabited by another family. he goes to the police to make a complaint and discovers that his name does not appear on the computer, while his wife's name is sarah. sarah reveals the truth to him: he is a robot built from the body of a certain sam; the whole operation was managed by a governmental scientific agency. penetrated in the laboratory john and sarah discover that the robot's self-destruction program has also started, which will take place at midnight on the same day.
