Fire at My Heart (2006)

naples 1815, last months of the reign of joachim murat. triumphs and tragic epilogue of that king who knew how to ignite and drag the neapolitan people into the dream, perhaps premature, of a united and independent italy. at that time the young eugenio, after years of distance in france, returns to naples, his hometown, due to a wound brought back into battle, recalled by his beloved grandfather. during the long convalescence, eugenio rediscovers his never forgotten roots, starts to doubt the acquired certainties and discovers true love while he dreams of other roads closer to the nature and spirit of the people.
