grattacieli (1943)

on the top floor of a skyscraper in new york some friends organized a party; suddenly one of them, drunk, while trying to hug a girl, loses his balance falling into the void. the police immediately opened an investigation also discovering the various ties that exist between the people who participated in the party and comes to the surface that the victim had received a blow on the head before falling. suspicions now fall on one, now on the other, until the culpability of the cynical landlord who will be killed in turn is proved.
