happy times (2000)

zhao, no longer young, is looking for a wife. he finds an obnoxious and arrogant woman, already a mother of two children: an obese and spoiled boy and a blind young woman, abused by her mother. zhao, blinded by love, makes one believe he is a hotel owner, but in reality he has only invented to furnish a van to rent it to occasional lovers. the trouble comes when the blind girl is given to him for use in the hotel. zhao and his friends then organize a self-defeating scam: since she doesn't see them, they simulate a hotel where they take turns being massaged by the girl, economically bleeding herself.
