an inspector, to unmask a gang of counterfeiters, makes himself believe a traveling salesman and begins the investigation. thanks to an anonymous letter, he slowly manages to put together numerous clues that lead him to naples. eventually he finds the printing press in the hold of a steamer and arrests the culprits after a hard fight.
