i hearth huckabees (2004)

convinced that a series of casual encounters with a mysterious concierge have to do with the greatest and most obscure enigmas of life, albert markovski asks for help from a detective agency that is anything but conventional. albert turns to bernard and vivian jaffe, or existential detectives, a pair of metaphysical investigators who fearlessly investigate the deep mysteries that are the core of their clients' intimate and secret life. their investigations become, however, a bit intrusive, bringing to light the conflicting relationship between markovski and brad stand, a young and rampant leader of the huckabees, a popular chain of department stores that wants to sponsor albert's open spaces coalition. bernard and vivian then investigate brad's ambition thoroughly and study his relationship with the hot, blonde model dawn, chosen by the huckabees as a woman image, while albert begins to lose confidence and rebel against their conclusions. facing another of the investigating couple's clients, fireman tommy, albert teamed up with the archenemy of the jaffes, the disturbing french philosopher catherine vauban.
