candido, the boy of a carousel of horses, is the darling of a band of boys who have formed the 'mohican' tribe. making herself up as a fortune-teller to escape the wrath of a big man and meet a young florist, she falls in love, but the girl is kidnapped by the head of a gang of counterfeiters. with the help of the boys, candido foils the forgers and frees the girl.
