il diavolo in convento (1951)

brother angelo is the only religious left in a convent. he spends his days devoting himself to the many derelicts who ask him for hospitality, until the day when a rich industrialist buys the convent to turn it into a hotel. the good friar, then, seeks a solution to convince the unwanted to leave and finds nothing better than to invent a miracle. the stratagem would have real life if an authentic miracle did not intervene.
