a noble in poor economic conditions is on the verge of being tricked by three swindlers who would like to have him enter a society for the exploitation of a source of medicinal water that flows into his estate. in reality the three rascals would like to take possession of the lands and villas that still remain to the noble, but his faithful butler foils their plots, pretending to keep a precious document that the three have lost and which would reveal their shady dealings.
