innocent man, an (1989)

the world collapses on jimmie rainwood the night two unscrupulous agents exchange his home for a drug dealer. from that moment jimmie and his wife fall into a nightmare that seems to have no end and ends with the arrest of the innocent. locked up in a maximum security prison, jimmie manages to survive the harsh prison laws thanks to a veteran prisoner, virgil cane. when his innocence is finally tried and can get out of jail, jimmie is a different man: he no longer wants to suffer and devises a plan that will allow him to get even with a system capable of condemning an innocent to three years in prison.
