irreversible (2002)

history in three times, told in an upside-down perspective, of a tragic, irreversible episode of violence. at the beginning the protagonist's hatred explodes in a gay club and then on the streets of the city against those who raped and nearly killed his woman. in the middle there is the atrocious violence suffered by the girl who is attacked in a subway by a man armed with a knife when she returns from a party. in the end life as never can be: the serene daily life of a couple in love, the joy of a woman who has just discovered she is expecting a child.
