a hotel company has decided to build a luxury hotel in a sicilian village, tre castagni, on the slopes of etna. the initiative finds hostility in a bizarre character of the country, ignazio privitera, since the hotel would take away part of the beautiful panorama. after a visit to the curia of syracuse, then up to venice, to the vain search for untraceable documents that would prove ownership of the land to a religious congregation, mr. privitera gradually converted to the initiative, becoming indeed one of the major financiers.
