l'arcidiavolo (1940)

the devil himself, in disguise, ca aboard a yacht where there are some rich couples who have decided to take a cruise with no time limits and no destination. he wants to push these sinners to stain themselves again to then sink the ship and take their souls. but the pettiness of the victims is such that, while guilty, they dare not break that semblance of honesty that overshadows their ugliness. the devil then does not consider them worthy even of hell and abandons them to wander forever on the sea.
