Siege of Syracuse (1960)

a completely invented story that narrates the love between the famous philosopher and mathematician archimedes and a young roman woman who later ends up marrying the consul marcello. during the war between rome and carthage the vindictive mathematician will build contraptions to put the romans in difficulty and with one of these will kill his rival in love.
