giorgio is a mediocre but ambitious thirty-year-old journalist. his life changes abruptly when the editor of the newspaper decides to transfer him to a provincial editorial office. just when he believes he has found his new dimension of life, the editor of the newspaper announces his dismissal to giorgio. only the shocking abduction by unknown persons of the grandson of the most important local entrepreneur gives giorgio his job as a correspondent. the whole country is mobilizing in search of the "monster".
