a master of a small provincial town, endowed with a splendid tenor voice, goes with his girlfriend to the theater in the city. at a certain moment they separate and can no longer find each other; hence a series of setbacks in which the master is forced to sing, an entrepreneur hears him, his fortune begins and he finds his girlfriend. the step to the stage is short, the career of an opera singer is assured and so is marriage towards a happy life.
