la fabbrica dell'imprevisto (1942)

a young count, who happened to be in a soundstage by chance, is used as an appearance and, when the diva is known, he falls madly in love with her. to be able to have her always close, he invites director and actors to a reception in his palace and, with the help of two cronies he stages a fake armed robbery, stripping all the guests from jewels and money. his intent was to make a joke and then return all the stolen goods, but a series of circumstances prevented him from being returned and the young man found himself being suspected as instigator and author of the robbery. in the end, however, everything is clarified and the noble will marry the charming diva.
