la granduchessa si diverte (1940)

in the capital of a small european state a ballet company performs, in which there is a dancer who resembles in an impressive way the sovereign, a grand duchess. the police authorities decide to remove the dancer from the village, but for a misunderstanding they remove the grand duchess, while the dancer is returning to the palace. numerous misunderstandings derive from this personal exchange, but everything will then be clarified and the two women will resume their rightful place.
