a director and his troupe arrive in a remote village in iranian kurdistan. the man, almost isolated from the rest of the world, explores the place with the guidance of a child, letting believe that he is looking for a treasure. actually he went so far to resume a particular funeral ceremony, but the person who should die shortly recovers. in the meantime the director discovers the magic of the place and forgets the purpose of the journey.
