françois foucault, veteran professor of french literature at the prestigious henri iv institute, ends up accepting a position at a public school in the outskirts of paris in a troubled area. a bit pedantic and prejudiced, françois must adapt to a new social reality in which culture and the desire for knowledge are not the priority of his students.
