lisbon story (1994)

the director friedrich in lisbon began to shoot a curious silent film, a kind of homage to the origins of cinema. at work, however, he had the feeling of being in a labyrinth without exits. hence the idea of ??summoning the phonic friend phillip, a virgin eye perhaps able to make sense of his frames. once in place, the engineer does not find anyone waiting for him. the filmmaker's work lies unfinished in slow motion. then phillip decides to record the sounds for monroe's silent work.
