moonlight mile (2002)

a young man, upset by the murder of his girlfriend, decides to dedicate his life to the girl's parents and his memory, and to help them in an attempt to have the person responsible for his death condemned. but he has not come to terms with the strength of his feelings and, despite his good intentions, he returns to fall in love with bertie, facing serious conflicts of conscience.
