on the death of his father the two brothers ernie and lars smutz inherit a house of great value. selling it would mean making a large sum that would change their lives forever. but just as ernie and lars are about to fulfill their dream they discover that in the house there is already a guest a mouse. the classic mouse hunt turns into a real war of poison traps and very complicated traps. but the little mouse proves to be very astute, at times even diabolical, so much so that in the end it will be the two big men who have to beat a retreat.
